
A Madagascan rarity. It is a medium sized epiphyte, which reaching 10-15cm in height, with a stem carrying narrowly ensiform, thick leathery, pitted, 4-5 cm long leaves.
The stout leafed Angraecum blooms in the spring on an axillary, short, few flowered inflorescence. The white flowers up to 4 cm in diameter, with a spur about 5 cm long.
